I really like this picture because of the lines and designs in it, but I'm not sure how I feel about the blurriness on the left side. The black and white creates a more relaxed slow vibe to the picture and it gives me the feel that there's nothing else in the world, but that guitar and the music it plays. When I see this picture I also think of more classic guitar music and maybe Hotel California because that's like my favorite song. I think that you did a great job giving this picture an emotional, calming feel to it.
I like how the picture is in black and white, because it allows me to focus on the details of the picture. I'm not a fan of how only half the picture is in focus, that could just be me though. Also, I recommend cropping the picture to fall into the rule of thirds.
I love how soft this picture is and how it contrast with the sharpness of the strings. They really lead your eyes from the top of the picture to the bottom, this makes me really take in the whole picture. The picture is stunning and it was clever to make the picture fade out on the left side. Great job!
I love how the pattern of the guitar is more focused than the rest. Going with that, the rest of the image is a bit too blurry, personally. i like how the guitar strings lead your eyes to take in the whole image. Awesome work!
Interesting how far you zoomed in to the object of the guitar. I like it a lot, very simple and aesthetically pleasing. I also like how it's black and white but a nice, soft black and white, as opposed to something more sharp.
Okay so its a great photo in general but moving to the story, i dont see much at all. The photo is well exposed and good blur and detail. But i see no story that answers the question. To be honest I just see a photo of a guitar, I need more than that. I wanna see you interested in the instrument so i have the feeling that you wanna know more about it and learn how to play it. Its a great idea though. Good job!
The way you blurred out the left half of the photo actually has a really good affect. The guitar looks great and I think the balance of dark and light are also very nice.

ReplyDeleteI like how you focused the photo to make the left side blurrier. Also, good use of directional line!
